  1. Log into your SpyTrac dashboard.

  4. Uncheck “Everyday E-mail Notifications” field and save the new settings.

  3. Download your SpyTrac data as .CSV file.

SpyTrac is associated with your device’s IMEI. Changing the SIM card used with the monitored device will not affect the SpyTrac device monitoring.

You can add other devices to your SpyTrac account. Upon installing the application on a new device, make sure you use the same email address and password you used when you purchased SpyTrac. Access your SpyTrac dashboard to find the separate tab for new device(s).

  1. Log into your SpyTrac dashboard.
  2. Go to “Packages Installed”.
  3. Locate the application you want to block/unblock.

We generally retain your Personal Data for as long as is necessary to accomplish the business purpose for which the Personal Data was collected. With respect to data collected from a target device and data provided to register for the service, we retain this data for ninety (90) days, as specified in our Privacy Policy.

In case you were previously using a SpyTrac free trial subscription, and that subscription has already expired, you will need to install the application again on the device you wish to monitor.

SpyTrac was specially designed to keep our customers in mind. Our application uses minimum resources of your battery life and mobile data. We recommend waiting for 24 hours so that all your SpyTrac captured data reflect in your user interface.

However, the monitored device may stop uploading the data if:

  1. The monitored device is hard reset.
  2. The monitored device’s firmware is upgraded.
  3. The monitored device is not connected to the internet.
  4. The SpyTrac application is removed from the monitored device.

You need to reinstall the application if scenarios #1, #2, or #4 apply.

Depending on the internet connection of your monitored device, your user interface will show a green/gray or red icon. Hover the mouse over the grey/red icon to check the amount of time the monitored device has been disconnected for.

SpyTrac was specially designed to keep our customers in mind. Our application uses minimum resources of your battery life and mobile data. It is possible that even though you see the green symbol, the device is not actually connected to the internet.

  1. The MMS feature might not be enabled.
    • To enable MMS monitoring, go to settings, and enable “MMS” from the “Individual Feature On/Off” panel.
  2. The auto-download option is not active.
    • MMS will be only available once it is downloaded. Only images and audio files will be displayed.

In order to install SpyTrac, you will need physical access to the monitored device.

Choose the SpyTrac subscription type that suits you best. Follow the steps on our website to create your SpyTrac account. Once your account is created, you will receive an email with the installation instructions.

You can monitor as many devices you want, by using a single SpyTrac account. However, in order to be able to monitor multiple devices at the same time, you need to purchase a SpyTrac subscription for each of them.

SpyTrac collects monitoring data and uploads it so that you’ll be able to access all the information from your user dashboard, ONLY when the target device is connected to the internet.

The monitored device requires internet connection to get SpyTrac working, thus sending the captured data (call history, location information, etc.) from the target phone to your user dashboard for review. You will also need internet connection on the target phone to initially download the app.

SpyTrac service is designed for parental and employee monitoring only, you must not use it for any other purpose.

SMS

  1. Log into your SpyTrac dashboard.
  2. Go to ‘Contacts’.
  3. Find the contact you wish to block or unblock.
  4. Click on the link next to the contact you want to block or unblock.

In case the monitored device is using a third-party application to send SMS, for example, GoSMS, SpyTrac will not be able to capture outgoing messages.

All subscriptions include a feature-rich and very user-friendly Control Panel. The first logs of captured text messages, call details, GPS locations, and much more will be available as soon as initial user authentication ends.

Call Log

  1. Go to your Login SpyTrac user dashboard.
  2. Select the “Calls” tab from the sidebar menu.
  3. Check all the incoming, outgoing, and missed calls. You will also be able to check the call recordings.

Location

SpyTrac will retrieve GPS location data ONLY if the location service is enabled on the target device.

To adjust the settings for GPS location data, increase “GPS Distance Interval” to 500 meters or more in your user dashboard, under GPS location.

SpyTrac offers three different options in order to properly locate the target device, even when the phone is not connected to the internet:

  1. Using GPS: accurate location, up to approx. 50 meters; but may not work if the monitored device is located inside a building.
  2. Using the device mobile data: accurate location, up to approx. 100 meters; needs internet connection.
  3. Using device cellular tower information: no internet connection necessary, low accuracy up to 1-5 km.

In order to get accurate results, we recommend enabling Settings >> Location and security >> Use wireless networks.

Geo fence is used to get notifications when the monitored device enters or leaves the set geo fence.

Below are steps to set geofence:

  1. Log in to your SpyTrac user dashboard.
  2. Go to “Geo fence” on the sidebar menu
  3. Click on the “Create New” button to set a new geofence for your monitored device.
  4. The map with the monitored device’s last location will be displayed. Move the pin to any other place where you wish to set the fence.
  5. Enter the place name below the map box and click on “Save”.
  6. You can see your set geofence list in the table. If you want to update (change) your existing geofence then click on “View Map”.

Note: GeoFence will function properly and provides accurate location information up to 50 meters, as long as your monitored device has the GPS option activated.

Live Audio/Photos

If you are trying to capture a photo by using the Live panel, but receive a dark photo instead, the monitored device is not in use, or the display is turned off.

  1. Go to the “Live panel” tab on your SpyTrac Interface.
  2. Click on the “Screen” tab.
  3. Take screenshot.

In order to remotely check the monitored device screen, use SMS Commands and see what your children/employees are up to on their cell phones. You can also view the live screen of your target device under the Live pro features.

The SpyTrac app is updated periodically, and possible bugs are fixed as soon as they are identified. However, this error might occur in extremely rare circumstances. In case it does, please ignore the error and continue with the desired action.

This feature is only available for devices with an OS version higher than 2.0.

Any capture functionality functioning through the Easy Access buttons requires that the monitored device is connected to the internet.

Here, at SpyTrac, we’re constantly working on improving our customer’s experience. Therefore, we are always ready with alternate options for obtaining the results the customer desires. If the Easy Access buttons are not working for your device, we recommend you use SMS Command to do the capture instead.

In order to be able to use the Instant audio/photo feature, the monitored device needs to be connected to the internet.

If the device has a strong and stable internet connection, try accessing this feature by opening your user dashboard in another browser.

We also recommend using “Scheduler” or “SMS Command” for more reliable results.

This feature is available only for devices operating on OS versions higher than 2.0. Instant capture requires a strong and stable internet connection. If the instant feature is not working for your device, we suggest using SMS Commands to capture audio/photo/location.

Web User Dashboard Usage

SpyTrac data are frequently updated and they can easily be accessed in your user dashboard as long as the application is properly installed and the monitored device is connected to the internet. If your data has not been updated for 24h, the target device might not be connected to the internet, or the application is no longer installed on the monitored phone (Factory Reset). Please verify proper internet connection & software installation on the target device.

To download or save images

From Desktop:

  1. Right-click on the image thumbnail that you want to download.
  2. Open it in a new tab.
  3. Click on “Save”.

From Mobile:

  1. Long press the image thumbnail that you want to download.
  2. Tap on “Download Image” or “Open Image in New Tab”.
  3. Save image.

Scheduler

SpyTrac also provides you with the possibility to schedule a certain action on the target device. You can choose the day and time for monitoring and set specific time intervals.

  1. Log in to your SpyTrac user dashboard.
  2. Under Settings, select ‘Default Watching Interval’.
  3. Define the interval of the day for which you want to monitor the phone.

All SpyTrac features function accordingly only when the monitored device is connected to the internet. In order to benefit from the best outcomes of the audio/photo schedule feature:

  1. Schedule the desired action 4-5 hours in advance.
  2. Change “Sync interval” in settings to 7200.
  3. Do not set audio capture longer than 15 minutes.
  4. Make sure the desired scheduled actions do not overlap. SpyTrac may fail to perform two or more actions scheduled at the same time.

Registration

SpyTrac can be used ONLY for parental and employee monitoring. In order to monitor a minor, you need to be the legal guardian of the child. You must not use our service for any other purpose. SpyTrac will immediately terminate service in case these legal requirements are not met.

Please make sure you type in the correct email ID and password in order to be able to register.

In case your SpyTrac trial subscription has expired, the Subscription Expired error will be received when trying to access your account. Renew your SpyTrac subscription to be able to continue using our service.

Once your email address is verified, you will not be able to change the registered email.

Installation

Please refer to our Installation Guide for all necessary steps.

In order to reinstall SpyTrac, you will need physical access to the device you want to monitor.

  1. Open install application list below the navigation.
  2. Settings » Application » Manage Application.
  3. Now search below application and uninstall them.
    • Uninstall button might be disabled if “Device Administrator” right was given during installation. Please uncheck it from the “Device Administrator” list. (Settings » Security » Device administrators » uncheck “System Service”)
  4. Go to https://spyt.co in the target device’s web browser and download the APK.
  5. Install the APK
  6. Configure SpyTrac client using the same account.
  7. Clean the device browser’s history and downloads.

Uninstallation

Contact our support. Don’t forget to uninstall SpyTrac from the device first.

In order to uninstall SpyTrac, you need access to the target device. Follow the below steps for uninstalling:

  1. Open the application list below the navigation.
  2. Settings » Application » Manage Application.
  3. Now search “System Service” and uninstall.

The uninstall button might be disabled if the “Device Administrator” right has been given during installation. Go to Settings » Security » Device administrators » uncheck “Parental Control”.

Payment

For any payment-related issues, forward the email you received with your payment details to [email protected], and specify the issue you are encountering. We will handle your request in no time.

The two SpyTrac accepted payment methods are:

  1. PayPal (Coming Soon)
  2. Visa/Master Card

In both cases, you have to use a credit card to make the payment. Both options are available on the SpyTrac payment page. Discount codes apply to both payment methods. However, if you encounter any issues upon purchase, just send us an email to [email protected], and specify the SpyTrac subscription type you are interested in purchasing. We will contact you shortly and provide an invoice that you can use to complete the purchase.

  1. Log in to your user dashboard.
  2. Select the device tab for the one you wish to renew the subscription.
  3. Under “USER DETAILS”, click on the “Renew” link or select “Subscription” tab to activate your account.
  4. Select the desired subscription plan.
  5. Make the payment.

SMS Commands

Access the Settings in your SpyTrac user dashboard and set the desired new value for “SMS Command Pin”.

  • Do not change SMS pin frequently.
  • The change will take time before actually being applied, therefore keep in mind to use the command at least 10-12 hours after performing the edits.
  • The SMS pin length should be at least 4 digits.

The results of SMS Commands will be available on the Scheduler page. The device will upload the results only when it is connected to the internet.

Make sure you are giving the correct SMS command. Refer to the “SMS Commands” page for more details.

Things to have in mind while using SMS Commands:

  • Do not change SMS pin frequently.
  • The change will take time before actually being applied, therefore keep in mind to use the command at least 10-12 hours after performing the edits.
  • The SMS pin length should be at least 4 digits.

If you send an SMS Command (i.e., x9f9p9 LC 1) to retrieve location over SMS, the location link will be sent back to the same number you used to send the command. Even if the target device is not connected to the internet, the SpyTrac SMS command will help you find out the location of the target phone.

WhatsApp Monitoring

You can track WhatsApp chats easily by simply using SpyTrac. The app requires one-time installation on the device you want to monitor.

After installing SpyTrac, you need to give Accessibility permission on your monitoring device » Device Settings » Accessibility » WiFi Service » Enable it.

You can remotely track all WhatsApp chats and audio files without having to root the target device.

SpyTrac can not capture WhatsApp data if there are more than one System services installed in the target device.

Follow the below steps to check the System service on your target device:

  1. Go to Settings » Accessibility » Check how many System services there are.
  2. Enable Last System service in the List & Disable all other System services.

Facebook and Viber Monitoring

This operation needs manual interaction. Hence perform it only when you have physical access to the monitored device.

  1. Use SMS Commands to get Facebook and Viber monitoring access on a rooted device. Send <SMSPin> root command to the tracked device, by using any other phone you have access to.
  2. Check “Monitoring phone screen”. It will ask you to allow root access. Click on “Allow”.
  3. If you do not get any notification, and also the root features are not working, we recommend you reinstall the application. During installation, you will be asked to allow root access; please enable it.
  1. Open System Settings » Apps.
  2. Go to the “ALL” tab and select “Super User”.
  3. Click on “Disable”.

You need physical access to the target device. If “Preview” is disabled in the Viber application settings, you will not be able to monitor Viber messages. You will only get a brief description.

How can I fix it?

Open Viber app » Settings » Notifications » Show message preview Enable it.

Payment

More than likely you typed in the wrong email address. Lots of people accidentally type in things like hotnail.com, gmail.com, or yaho.com. Contact our Customer Support and specify the IMEI number of the device that is not present in your account. Our agents will fix it in no time.

This error means your email address is not verified. Please check your inbox, you should have received a SpyTrac verification email. Make sure you check your Spam/Junk folder as well. Click on the verification link to verify your account. If the verification link is not clickable, then log into your SpyTrac account at https://spytrac.com/login and enter the verification code received in the above-mentioned email.

If you have not received a verification email, you can resend the email from login at https://spytrac.com.
